Christmas Release

One day before Christmas we have released new versions of our core crypto toolkit IAIK-JCE and our SSL/TLS library iSaSiLk!

This year NIST has approved the FIPS PUB 202 standard that specifies four hash functions SHA3-224, SHA3-256, SHA3-384 and SHA3-512, and two Extendable Output Functions (XOFs), SHAKE128, SHAKE256. IAIK-JCE provides MessageDigest engines for all four hash functions and also implementations for the two XOFs. For backwards compatibility the KECCAK MessageDigest engines will be still available. However, since SHA-3 slightly differs from KECCAK, be aware that KECCAK and SHA-3 will produce a different hash output.

Please have a look at the product pages of IAIK-JCE and iSaSiLk:

Please visit our download center to get the new versions.

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
We are looking forward to hearing from you in the new year!

Kind regards

Your SIC/IAIK Java Security Team!
